Mr. Godfred Amewu is currently a Finance Lecturer/Researcher at the GIMPA Business School and the Lead Coordinator for the Centre. He holds an MSc degree in Finance from the University of St Andrews (UK) and an Honours degree in Mathematics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana). Mr Amewu has extensive experience in finance/investments, having worked in various educational and finance roles in U.K. and Ghana. His research interests are in the areas of corporate finance, risk management, banking and market research. Mr. Amewu coordinates the affairs of GCII and also provides Project Support in the areas of investments, performance measurement, and development of impact investing case studies.
Dr. Patrick Tandoh-Offin is the Coordinator responsible for Policy, Advocacy and M&E. He is Senior Researcher at the Centre. Dr. Tandoh-Offin is a rural development and gender and social policy expert with rich experience in surveys, data analysis, program/project planning and management, and monitoring and evaluation. He is presently an Independent Consultant and Lecturer in the School of Public Service and Governance (SPSG) at the Ghana Institute of Management of Public Administration. Patrick holds a Doctorate degree in Policy Studies from Clemson University (USA), a Master’s degree in Community and Economic Development from the Pennsylvania State University (USA) and a Bachelor Degree in Land Economy from KNUST (Kumasi).
Mr. Kofi B. Afful is a Senior Researcher and the Coordinator in-charge of training at GCII. He is a Lecturer at the GIMPA Business School. He has a Master of Commerce degree from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa and he has passed level one (1) of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam. His research interests encompass the field of Financial Economics and Financial Markets. Prior to his academic career, he worked as an Economist/Consultant at Benefit Advisory Research Pty. Ltd (South Africa), where he carried out research and assignments for the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), Citigroup South Africa and the National Treasury of South Africa.
Dr. Anthony Owusu-Ansah is a Support Officer and a Senior Research at the centre. He is a Private Consultant and a Lecturer in the GIMPA Business School. He holds a PhD degree in Real Estate Finance and Economics from the University of Aberdeen, UK; MSc degree in Real Estate Management from the Royal Institute of Management, Sweden; and Bsc. (Hons) degree in Land Economy from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana. Anthony has several teaching and research interests including housing market analysis, real estate financing and investment, examination of corporate capital structure policies, portfolio and financial analysis and efficiency of capital markets. He has published extensively in top referred journals like Property Management. He is currently the Centre Coordinator in-charge of Research and Publication.
Mr. Derick Ohemeng-Mensah is in charge of Legal compliance on the project and also a Senior Researcher. Currently a Lecturer in Laws at the GIMPA Business School, Derick Ohemeng-Mensah (LL.M, School of Law, University of Westminster) is an Arbitrator, Mediator and Conflict Resolution Consultant and also sits on three different boards as a trustee and chairman. His research interests are in the areas of Access to Justice, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Corporate Governance, International Commercial Arbitration & Mediation, Conflict Resolution, International Tax Avoidance and Evasion. He has taught in Several Universities including China Europe Business School and Presbyterian University College. He is the Centre Secretary and in charge of legal issues.
Dr. Gina Teddy is currently a Lecturer at the GIMPA School of Public Service and Governance. She holds a PhD degree in Social Policy and Social Work from the University of York, UK; MA and BA degrees in Sociology from the University of Ghana. Gina has a wide range of teaching and research experience in sociology, health policies, public policy, and ethics and social responsibilities. Her research interests are in social impact assessment; health systems and health policies; and public policy and public administration. Gina will be driving the ethical and social effects of development investments and corporate responsibility. Dr Teddy is the Coordinator responsible for Fund-Raising, Media and External Issues.
